Cross Country Course
Wickstead has its own Professionally built Cross Country, comprising of a range of jumps up to 3'3" including two water complexes. It is available for use for Competitions and Schooling. In addition, also present is a TREC course. Again this used for Schooling and Events.

Indoor School and Outdoor Manege

The Indoor School and Outdoor Manege
The indoor school is a fully lit arena with a Pasada surface, Dimensions: 20 metres by 50 metres Outdoor Manege is a flood-lit training arena with a rubber surface, Dimensions: 25 metres by 40 metres

Horse Walker

Claydon 5 Horse Walker We have a Claydon 5 Horse Walker complete with rubber flooring, electric gates and braking system

Off Road Riding

Off road Riding and River Crossings on our farm through 500 acrea of beautiful Wiltshire countryside

General Facilities

Stabling

A variety of stables are available accommodating all needs. Stabled horses are provided with an area in the feed room and space in the Tack rooms which are alarmed.

Wash Down Area

The wash down area is available to Livery clients.

Turn Out

All of our paddocks are fenced with electric fencing and well maintained with a Terra Vac Machine. Mares and Geldings turned out separately.

Yard Office

Housing a pay phone, First Aid and Information point, WC also situated next to it.

Spa

Providing treatment for all leg and hoof injuries, including tendon and ligament damage, bruising and inflammation and flesh wounds. Therapy can also be used for the prevention of injury, reducing heat and swelling that can occur in legs after strenuous exercise and competition.

Parking

Large car park with limited permanent parking for Clients trailers and lorries.

Security

All Tack rooms are alarmed and covered by CCTV, the centre is also well lit and the proprietor lives on site.

Necessities

Our livery clients may choose to use a farrier, vet, physio and dentist of their choice. 

We are fortunate to have reliable and trustedcontacts in these professions. Dave New and Jamie Goddard are our farriers(www.goddard-farrier-services.co.uk) Barton Stephens of the Elms Veterinary Surgery is our vet, Sonya Nightingale is our physio (www.highworth-physio.co.uk) and Alex Jessop our dentist.
